Chris left today for two weeks of Guard training. I took these pictures this morning before he left. After he gets back we are headed to Minnesota for a visit! Can't wait for him to get back!

Gramma and grampa Eddy came for a visit this weekend. We had a great time going to the zoo and playing in the back yard. Here are some pictures from over the weekend.

Chris and Rich trying to fix Chris' prize possession.....his riding mower. Isn't is just lovely with all the black spray paint?

Time to do our hair.

Sleepy time.

Dress up

Alana was playing dress up today so I decided Skyler would want to be dressed up too. Alana is a fairy princess and Skyler is in a Snow White outfit.

Here's that belly again.

The skirt works as a dress too.

She passed out on the floor while playing.

We had a great Mother's Day weekend. Chris and the girls really took care of me and they gave me great gifts. Below is a picture of when Alana and I were playing hide and seek. She was hiding and Skyler kept finding her. Skyler wouldn't let Alana keep the door shut. She got pretty mad. It was funny to watch because once again, I can see Erica and I going through the same thing. I can totally see me picking on her when we were little. I think it just made her stronger as a person and she should thank me for it. Just like Alana will have to thank Skyler later on in life.

This is Skyler and two of her blankies (made by gramma) she was hauling around today. It is very hard to separate her from these blankets.

Alana helping carry in some groceries.

Look at her fat tummy. She gets that from her daddy: ) Of course not from her mom: )

Alana got her first professional hair cut today. I usually cut her hair. She was very excited about it. She was a perfect little girl sitting in the chair. I was very impressed.

This is what is left of the tree. Chris and Alana got it all chopped up yesterday and hauled it to the curb. Every few months, the city goes around and picks up piles of branches like this. Hopefully it won't be there too long.

My girls are at the age where they are fighting over toys. Skyler was trying to take the shopping cart and baby dolls from Alana and Alana wouldn't let her. It was funny watching it because I can totally see Erica and I doing that when we were younger.

Alana posing with her teddy bear blankie made by gramma.

Skyler passed out on her foam chair on Saturday night. It was so cute. She played hard that day and just crashed.

We came home from work on Thursday and found this tree down in our back yard. Not sure what we are going to do with it. I'm sure it won't be easy or cheap.
